The Khumbu area of Nepal is famous for the trekking & climbing in the world containing Mt. Everest (8848m/2902ft), Cho Oyu (26,748 ft/8,153m), Gyachung Kang (7922m/25,984ft), Pumori (7145m/23,578ft), the Tibetan peak Changtse (7550m/24,764ft, Nuptse (7879m/26,000ft), Makalu (8475m/27,798ft), Ama Dablam (6856m/21,964ft), Kang Taiga (6779m/22,235ft), Thamserku (6608m/21,674ft), Khumbila (5673m/18,720ft), Tawoche (6367m/20,884ft), Cholatse (Jobo Lhaptshan) (6440m/21,123ft), and more. Due to the remoteness of this region from capital, the trek becomes expensive due to Arial transportation for goods and people, however our company makes it cheaper by using local manpower for the porterage & cooking so that local community gets employment and direct benefits.

This trek as the best in the Everest region and may be sometimes coincided with the annual Tibetan-Buddhist tsechu, or religious festival at Thyangboche monastery. Probably one of the really special parts of this festival is to see the enraptured faces of the local Sherpas, young and very old, who come a long way to be there and you having sometime to understand and mixed with Sherpa culture dominated the region.
