Exotic and the best of both worlds i.e. Nepal / Tibet at altitude and an adrenaline supercharge. This is an experience and a nice one to add to your volume of life fulfilling accomplishments. At HMB we think the downhill is only half the story and half the accomplishment and so we arrange for you to complete the uphill as well and truly earn your strips for this world record. We’ll take you safely to the lofty heights of the Tibetan Plateau where the greatest array of world class peaks surround you as we thread our way through the eye of the Himalayas that for centuries was off-limits and impenetrable. This is only one of several passes between the length of the Indian, Bhutanese and Nepal Himalayas.
To the right and left the white monoliths of Chomolungma (Mt.Everest) 8848-m, Cho-Oyu 8,153-m, Gyachungkang 7922-m and Shishapungma, shadow your ascent and final descent.
Our descent starts high above the ragging waters of the Bhote Kosi with its origins at Mt Kailash. In the final descent we merge with the banks of the river and camp overnight catching some of its flow that we passed kilometers up along the wildly exotic and misty canyons with its waterfalls, river crossings and scattered Tibetan settlements earlier the same day. Our last day completes the last few kilometers to the World’s Longest Downhill as we embrace the banks of the Sun Kosi River in Dolaghat.
Your mission complete after 11 days of high adventure extreme biking that in just one day offers the uniqueness of being caught between the two realms of the rarified air of the baron Tibetan plateau to the lush tropical conditions of the Nepal rain forests. It’s an amazing transition that few get to experience. 157kms within a 4370-m altitude drop.

Having just returned home after my trip to Nepal, I have to ask myself ‘why did I wait so long to go’. This was an amazing trip with equally amazing biking, views and people. I didn’t know what to expect and I want to say a BIG thanks to HMB and your team for seeing such a great week of biking completed from start to finish, whilst attending to all the details. 
An Epic 20-30 minute flight by Kawasaki Helicopter, with the best Himalayan panoramic views, remote villages and rivers, then start the downhill ride for 30-50km, where you’re met with a picnic brunch and choice of your drink….. a life time experience……..
