This rugged, remote and beautiful country lies hidden behind Mt. Everest and many more of the highest peaks in the world of the Great Himal range. A rare topography having kept the secrets of Tibet closed to all western exploration until the late 19th century and early 20th century. Few brave cyclists have dared to ride along its inhospitable plateau. At a breathless average altitude of 4,000m it’s not for the faint of heart when crossing any of the six major passes of 5,000m plus, visiting Everest Base Camp and riding the longest downhill in the world that finishes in Nepal!
